Visit Europe Cheap
Other than the very efficient rail system in Europe you always have the options of air and car. Both make sense for certain trips
and should always be considered when you are planning a trip.
Travel by CAR While driving in another country can be a new experience, it should be looked at if you are highly motivated by flexibility in your travels. While I will always prefer the rails for certain trips, the car gives you an opportunity to reach places trains often times don't come close to. Stonehenge is 10 miles from the closest train, so a car is often the best option. My main advice when it comes to renting in a foreign land is to give yourself a quick rundown of local traffic laws so nothing will come as a suprise.

Travel by PLANE
Perhaps the most common misconception about European travel is that it is more expensive to fly than to take a train to a
location. This is almost universally incorrect. If you need to travel more than 200 miles, look into the European discount carriers
and see what they can do for you. Often times these airlines will fly into airports outside the main city, but will still make up for
that in time and money saved. Check out www.ryanair.com and www.easyjet.com.
Travel by SHIP
This option is probably more realistic than you think. Not only are there numerous cruises that circle Europe, but there are also
ferry's that specialize in every route from Italy to Greece to Denmark to Norway. Often times train schedules and eurail passes
will help you find times and dates of this form of travel as well.
