Thing I most wish I knew before I went: In downtown Sydney, convenience stores
don't have any alcohol. There are actually only a few places you can buy beer for
drinking outside a bar, and they price the beer or wine almost like you are in a bar.
While Australia is obviously not in Europe, it was founded by
Europeans and is in many ways similar in terms of culture,
language, and attitude.
It is also a great place to travel and visit for less. Visiting Cairns,
Darwin, Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, or
Tasmania can make for an amazing trip regardless of what you do
for fun.
So travel to Australia and find new and exciting ways to see the
city or the outback for less than you think is possible!

Bondi Beach is located within the City of
locals and tourists alike.
Getting there can be a bit tricky from
downtown Sydney and involves a couple
buses, or one direct bus. Despite the
effort, and the even greater effort leaving
the beach after a day in the sun along
with several thousand others, it is worth
it. Bondi Beach (pronounces Bond-I as I
found out) is beautiful and filled with
beautiful people. Watching the model
and surfers can make the day pass
quickly.
The Blue Mountains about 2 hours east of
Sydney give people in the city a great chance to
see a little bit about what the natural wonders of
Australia have to offer.
for a sunny day. It is much easier to get
to than Bondi and the beach bodies and
sun are just as good. It is also slightly
as simple as getting on a ferry from the
main station in Sydney for around $15
and riding the 30-45 minute ferry ride
across the harbor around the tip to
Manly.
